Basketball Recap: Garces Memorial Takes a Loss

Garces Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Mission College Prep Royals, falling 61-33. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Garces Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Mission College Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garces Memorial will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mira Monte at 2:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Mission College Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Clovis North at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mission College Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
