Sudan waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Abernathy Antelopes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-0 last Tuesday.

Cal Carter made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Carter was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Jaibryn Ornelas was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kyler Edwards, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Sudan's record is now 14-6. As for Abernathy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
