After losing to Arp the last time they met, Waskom decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tigers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since August 12th.

The win made it two in a row for Waskom and bumps their season record up to 3-6. As for Arp, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Waskom will square off against Hawkins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arp, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against San Augustine on the 22nd.
