Soccer Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union lost to Abingdon back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears came up short against the Falcons, falling 13-1. Union were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 8-1.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Abingdon, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Union will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lebanon at 5:30 p.m. on April 6. As for Abingdon, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against John Battle at 7:30 p.m.
