Upson-Lee is 9-1 against Mary Persons since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Despite the defeat, Mary Persons saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dee Grier went 7 of 13 en route to 21 points and seven assists. Josiah Knights was another key player, putting up ten points and eight boards.

Upson-Lee's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-5. As for Mary Persons, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Upson-Lee against Mary Persons in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 72-44 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Upson-Lee since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
