             Hughson has won three straight games at home, while Sonora has won three straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much  on Friday. The Hughson Huskies will host the Sonora Wildcats  at 7:00  p.m. Hughson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 33.7  points per game  this season.
 Hughson will bounce into Friday's   match after  beating Escalon, who they hadn't topped in nine consecutive meetings. Hughson sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  24-21  victory over Escalon  on Friday. The 24-point effort marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring  game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
 Hughson got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Robert Mcdaniel out in front who threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns.  Bryce Mcdaniel was  Robert's top target, picking up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

The dominant performance also gave  Sumter a new career-high in  rushing yards. Another thorn in Escalon's side was  Max Mankins, who picked up  two  sacks and made seven total tackles.
 Meanwhile, Sonora didn't have too much trouble with Hilmar at home   on Friday as they won  45-28. Given the Wildcats' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings  (they are ranked 105th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 378th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sonora to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Eli Ingalls, who rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 40 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was  Cash Byington, who rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: Sonora was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 382  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 213  rushing yards in six consecutive  contests.
 Hughson's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Sonora, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-0.
 We should be in store for an exciting game  as  the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Hughson has been on an offensive roll this season,  having  averaged 358.3  total yards per game. However, it's not like Sonora struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 384.3.
