Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Elena Stein and Kayla Greene Lead New Milford to Victory + How To Watch

New Milford entered their tilt with Stratford on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Devils. That's more bragging rights for the Green Wave, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

New Milford was led to victory by Kayla Greene and Elena Stein. Greene had seven aces and one block, while Stein had 19 assists and two aces. Those seven aces gave Greene a new career-high. Kendall Lim was another key player, getting five aces.

They weren't the only good servers: New Milford was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

New Milford's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Stratford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

New Milford will face off against Masuk at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stratford has already played their next contest (against New Fairfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
