Baseball Recap: Rosewood Wins Going Away Against Neuse Charter

Rosewood won the last time they faced Neuse Charter and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles blew past the Cougars 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Graham Lassiter was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jack Adams, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Rosewood and bumps their season record up to 17-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Neuse Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Rosewood will welcome Hobbton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.8, the Wildcats 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Neuse Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
