Fishers is 8-2 against Franklin Central since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will face off against the Flashes at 6:30 p.m. Fishers is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
Fishers barely beat Yorktown the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Fishers blew past Yorktown 9-3 on Monday. Fishers hasn't had any issues with Yorktown recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Austin Conley looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had over his last three matchups.
At the plate, Deagan Repp and Zander Carnahan did most of the damage at the plate: Repp went 2-for-5 with two runs and one stolen base, while Carnahan went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jase Ruggles, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Fishers was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Yorktown only posted a batting average of .241.
Meanwhile, Franklin Central came up short against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory on Friday and fell 6-2. The Flashes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Nate Schwark made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases.
Franklin Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Fishers, their victory bumped their record up to 19-4.
Franklin Central's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Fishers hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .313. It's a different story for Franklin Central, though, as they've only averaged .237. Will they be able to contain Fishers' hitters?
Fishers came out on top in a nail-biter against Franklin Central when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Flashes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
