Wasco is 8-2 against Taft since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Wasco duke it out with the Taft at 6:00 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Taft will be up against a hot Wasco team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Wasco blew past Delano 6-1 on Tuesday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Wasco's offense was hitting Delano from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Arianna Bernal led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Taft kept a clean sheet against Chavez on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 4-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Wasco is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those nine games. As for Taft, they now have a winning record of 10-9-3.

Wasco beat Taft 4-2 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Wasco repeat their success, or does Taft have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
