Chisago Lakes Area's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the North Branch Vikings by a score of 5-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-3 back in April.

Zander Bleymeyer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cole Stilp was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Jadon Greene was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Chisago Lakes Area's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for North Branch, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
