Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Joshua Dickerson stepped things up a notch to give Arroyo the 'W'. Davis Sr. had no answer to Dickerson as he picked up a sack, made three total tackles, and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown. Dickerson has been hot recently, having posted at least one defended passe the last four times he's played.

Looking ahead, Dickerson and Arroyo will challenge Mt. Eden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dons have some work to do to even out the 1-7 series between these two since October of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
