Volleyball Recap: Western Christian Takes a Loss

Western Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Millard South Patriots. The Wolfpack were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.

Emeline Myers went supernova For Millard South., getting 25 digs and six assists. Myers has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 13 times she's played.

Western Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Millard South, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Western Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Sergeant Bluff-Luton on the 2nd. As for Millard South, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Marian on the 30th.
