Cedar Park had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 49-45 W against the Magnolia Bulldogs. For the Timberwolves, this counts as revenge for the 72-56 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2018.

Cedar Park's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Magnolia, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

Coming up, Cedar Park will head out on the road to square off against Connally at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Magnolia, they will take on Kingwood Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
