Recap: Booker T. Washington Wildcats vs. Tate Aggies
The Booker T. Washington Wildcats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Tate, falling 44-0. Booker T. Washington was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Tate apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tate to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayvon Lenius, who threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. ANDRE COLSTON was another key contributor, rushing for 90 yards and two touchdowns.
Booker T. Washington's loss was their fifth straight at home , which bumped their record down to 1-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 3.8 points per game. As for Tate, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-5.
Booker T. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tate also has no future games currently scheduled.
