Antelope piles up the points against River Valley

Recap: Antelope Titans vs. River Valley Falcons

Make it six blowout wins for the Antelope Titans this season. They breezed by River Valley on the road to the tune of 72-43. Given Antelope's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while River Valley is ranked 752nd), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Antelope found their leader in underclassman SirMister Harriel, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Aj Cook, who scored 11 points along with two steals.

River Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Yuvraj Dosanjh, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Munneth Gill was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.

Antelope is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for River Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Antelope will be playing at home against Roseville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Roseville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for River Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Woodcreek at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodcreek is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 64.8 points per game.
