School of the Woods skates past Faith Christian with ease

The School of the Woods Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Faith Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 44-17 victory at home. The win was nothing new for School of the Woods as they're now sitting on four straight.

Savannah Phan continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with eight steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Kate Checo-Leckova was another key contributor, scoring two points along with eight rebounds.

Even though they lost, Faith Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as School of the Woods only pulled down eight offensive rebounds.

School of the Woods pushed their record up to 5-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Faith Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

School of the Woods won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Humble Christian at 12:00 p.m. on January 13th. Humble Christian's defense has only allowed 26.7 points per game this season, so School of the Woods' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Faith Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Good Samaritan HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. Good Samaritan HomeSchool will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
