Soccer Game Preview: Cascade vs. Fayetteville

Cascade is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Fayetteville a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Cascade Champions will host the Fayetteville Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Cascade lost 4-1 to Forrest on Tuesday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Fayetteville and Richland meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Raiders, falling 6-0. That's two games in a row now that Fayetteville have lost by exactly six goals.

Fayetteville's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Cascade, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-3.

Everything went Cascade's way against Fayetteville when the teams last played back in March, as Cascade made off with a 4-0 victory. Do the Champions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
