Volleyball Recap: Upper Lake Triumphs

Upper Lake won the last time they faced St. Helena and Ava Witter did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Saints on Thursday with plenty of help from Witter, who had 14 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Upper Lake got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-11, 16-25, 25-16, 23-25, 15-8.
