Basketball Recap: Minnewaska Area Comes Up Short

Minnewaska Area lost against Litchfield back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Minnewaska Area Lakers fell to the Litchfield Dragons 63-57. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (55), the Lakers still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Minnewaska Area and nudges their season record down to 7-6. As for Litchfield, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-10.

Minnewaska Area will be playing at home against B O L D at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Litchfield, they will take on New London-Spicer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Litchfield is facing New London-Spicer at the right time seeing as New London-Spicer is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
