Thornton Academy is 8-2 against Noble since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Trojans will head out to face off against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. Thornton Academy will be strutting in after a win while Noble will be coming in after a defeat.

Thornton Academy came out on top against Scarborough on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Red Storm. The game was the first time the Trojans have beaten the Red Storm on their field since May 14, 2021.

Thornton Academy got a massive performance out of Theresa Eng, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Allison Dattilo was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Thornton Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .459. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Scarborough only posted a batting average of .267.

Meanwhile, Noble fell victim to Cheverus and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 17-0 to the Stags. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Stags: they've now lost three in a row.

Noble's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Thornton Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Everything went Thornton Academy's way against Noble in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Thornton Academy made off with a 15-1 win. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
