There's no place like home for Bayside, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Titusville Terriers on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in February.

The team relied heavily on Sam Welte, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Brody Garrisson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Bayside's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Titusville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bayside will square off against Sebastian River at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bayside is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Titusville, they will take on Lake Highland Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
