Baseball Recap: Overfelt Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Overfelt extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping them up to 11-11. They never let the Del Mar Dons get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. This was payback for the Overfelt Royals, who suffered a 5-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The result came thanks to Hugo Jeronimo's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brian Becerra Dado, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Overfelt is 6-1 when Becerra Dado posts two or more runs, but 5-10 otherwise.
