McDermitt came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Liberty Baptist Academy Knights by a score of 32-19. The 32-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

McDermitt's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Warrick Crutcher led the charge by putting up nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shandon Camas, who posted seven points in addition to 12 rebounds and four steals.

McDermitt's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Liberty Baptist Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 5-2.

McDermitt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 34-15 defeat against Founders Classical Academy on the 14th. Liberty Baptist Academy will take on Trinity International in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Liberty Baptist Academy is facing Trinity International at the right time seeing as Trinity International is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
