Creede unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the La Veta Redhawks by a score of 43-41 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Redhawks: they've now lost five in a row.
