Bridgman had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-3 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Watervliet Panthers 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bees have posted since April 23, 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Watervliet fell to 7-1. The loss was their first of the season.

For Watervliet's part, Caleb Jewell put in work while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Jewell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

In other batting news, Logan Eberhard was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Nathan Harasewicz was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
