Volleyball Game Preview: McFarland Cougars vs. Taft Wildcats

The McFarland Cougars will head out to take on the Taft Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. McFarland has now lost 16 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 30.

McFarland lost 3-0 to Shafter on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Taft came up short against Shafter on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Generals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While Taft was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-11.

McFarland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-26-1. As for Taft, their loss dropped their record down to 9-19.

McFarland couldn't quite get it done against Taft in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
