Basketball Recap: Hyndman Charter School Comes Up Short

Hyndman Charter School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 60-9 loss at the hands of the Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-4.

Bryce Nicholson was nothing short of spectacular for Turkeyfoot Valley Area: he went 7 of 10 en route to 16 points along with six boards and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Colt Rugg, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 15 points and three steals.

Hyndman Charter School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Turkeyfoot Valley Area, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Hyndman Charter School will venture away from home to challenge Hancock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Turkeyfoot Valley Area, they will take on Conemaugh Township at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
