Basketball Game Preview: Making Waves Academy Marlins vs. The Bay School Breakers

The Making Waves Academy Marlins are taking a road trip to take on The Bay School Breakers on Tuesday. Making Waves Academy has given up an average of 52 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Making Waves Academy managed to keep up with Elite until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Marlins came up short against the Eagles, falling 66-45. The Marlins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, The Bay School took a blow against College Prep on Tuesday, falling 62-33. The Breakers haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The Bay School's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Making Waves Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Making Waves Academy couldn't quite finish off The Bay School when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 40-37. Can the Marlins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
