Lane Conway Dazzles in Silver Lake Victory

Starting off the list is Silver Lake's Lane Conway, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Conway rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Those 117 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

This year, Conway has averaged 42.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.

For the season, Tenbensel has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 69.3 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns.

Hunter Englehart was instrumental in extending Red Cloud's winning streak to seven on Friday. Englehart did his part (and then some), rushing for 87 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries for the 'W'.

Red Cloud's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Englehart and Red Cloud will square off against Pawnee City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Red Cloud Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Connor Rust

Connor Rust's big game helped extend Red Cloud's winning streak to seven on Friday. Rust did his part (and then some), rushing for 77 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 52 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 54 yards.

This season, Rust has thrown those 1 touchdown while averaging 15.1 passing yards per game.

Brexten Kobza Has Career Rushing Day

Brexten Kobza posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Harvard is on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Kobza and Harvard will face off against Silver Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
