White House had won four straight at home, but on Tuesday they bumped their record up to 11-13-1 to make it five. They skirted past the Macon County Tigers 2-0. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

As for Macon County, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since April 9th.

For Macon County's part, Eli Carver spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up nine Ks.

White House will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
