Basketball Game Preview: Boron Bobcats vs. Rosamond Roadrunners

Boron hasn't had much luck against Rosamond recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Boron Bobcats will be playing at home against the Rosamond Roadrunners at 7:00 p.m. Rosamond took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Boron, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Boron turned things around against Mammoth on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 44-32.

Meanwhile, Rosamond lost 68-43 to Lancaster on Thursday. The Roadrunners have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Boron's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-7. As for Rosamond, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Boron was dealt a bruising 77-20 defeat at the hands of Rosamond in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Thankfully for Boron, Andrew Arredondo (who posted 25 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
