Volleyball Game Preview: Cajon Cowboys vs. Redlands East Valley Wildcats

The Cajon Cowboys will square off against the Redlands East Valley Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Cajon is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Beaumont just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2.

Cajon took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 21-25, 20-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Redlands East Valley suffered their biggest defeat since February 27th on Tuesday. They came up short against Redlands, falling 3-0.

While Redlands East Valley ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-19.

Redlands East Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Cajon, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Cajon suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Redlands East Valley in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Cajon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
