Baseball Game Preview: West Lincoln Rebels vs. Highland Tech Rams

The West Lincoln Rebels will square off against the Highland Tech Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither West Lincoln nor Highland Tech posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

West Lincoln is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since April 4, 2025 on Wednesday. They fell just short of SouthLake Christian Academy by a score of 4-2.

Meanwhile, Highland Tech fell victim to North Gaston and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost eight in a row.

Highland Tech saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Coleman Schafer, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

West Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Highland Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

West Lincoln got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 against Highland Tech by a conclusive 14-5 score. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
