E.J. Levenberry, the nation's No. 22 recruit, has verbally committed to Florida State in a press conference at his school.

Levenberry picked the Seminoles over his other finalist, Michigan. He held scholarship offers from schools across the country.

The 6-foot-3, 227-pound linebacker is the No. 2 player in the country behind Alabama commit Reuben Foster.

As a junior, he earned U.S. Air Force All-American honors by recording 151 tackles and eight sacks, helping lead Hylton to an 11-1 record.

Levenberry is the first Top 100 recruit from the Class of 2013 to commit to the Seminoles. He joins a class that features Maquedius Bain and Austin Golson.

Florida State recently checked in at No. 11 in the team recruiting rankings.
