Basketball Recap: Carney Takes a Loss

Carney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 51-13 loss at the hands of the Glencoe Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 451st, while the Panthers are ranked 224th).

Carney's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Glencoe, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carney will square off against Graham/Dustin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glencoe, they will face off against Ripley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Ripley's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Glencoe has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
