Soccer Recap: East Wilkes Comes Up Short

East Wilkes lost against North Stokes back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. That's two games in a row now that East Wilkes have lost by exactly two goals.

East Wilkes dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Stokes, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2-3.

Looking ahead, East Wilkes will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against West Iredell at 5:30 p.m. As for North Stokes, they are taking a road trip to challenge East Surry at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
