Basketball Game Preview: Westmont Warriors vs. Mountain View Spartans

Westmont hasn't had much luck against Mountain View recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Warriors will jump right back in to play the Spartans at 8:00 p.m. One thing working in Westmont's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Westmont picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They put the hurt on Wilcox with a sharp 70-45 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.

Meanwhile, Mountain View won against Fremont on Wednesday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Spartans snuck past Burlingame with a 55-51 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Mountain View now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Westmont, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Westmont ended up a good deal behind Mountain View in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, losing 71-55. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
