Lutheran South Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Cypress Christian on Thursday. The Lutheran South Academy Pioneers were the clear victor by a 14-0 margin over the Cypress Christian Warriors. The Pioneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Lutheran South Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. Cypress Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Lutheran South Academy will be playing at home against Concordia Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cypress Christian, they will head out to take on Kelly Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on March 14th. The contest will give Kelly Catholic their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
