Soccer Game Preview: North Mesquite vs. Seagoville

The North Mesquite Stallions will face off against the Seagoville Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Mesquite will be strutting in after a win while Seagoville will be coming in after a loss.

North Mesquite's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past North Forney 4-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Stallions.

They hit North Forney with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Roberto Flores, Jason Matchniff, Adan Aguilar, and Isaac Vega.

Meanwhile, Seagoville's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Adamson by a score of 1-0. The loss was the Dragons' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Seagoville fell to 1-1-2. As for North Mesquite, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

North Mesquite skirted past Seagoville 2-1 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will North Mesquite repeat their success, or does Seagoville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
