Softball Game Preview: Perrydale Pirates vs. Colton Vikings

For the second straight game, Perrydale will face off against Colton. Perrydale will be playing in front of their home fans against Colton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Perrydale got the win against Colton by a conclusive 19-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Sophie Jackson was a standout: she scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Parr, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

Perrydale always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .756. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Colton only posted an OBP of .483.

Perrydale's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Colton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Perrydale took their victory against Colton in their previous matchup on Monday by a conclusive 19-7. Will Perrydale repeat their success, or does Colton has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
