Volleyball Recap: Jordan Victorious

Jordan lost to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown back in September of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Hubmen / Jaguars walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Buccaneers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hubmen / Jaguars.

Jordan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-16, 25-11, 25-9.

Morgan Staloch paced Jordan's offense, picking up 19 kills. Staloch got some help from Molly Church and her 22 assists. Finally, Staloch was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Jordan's record is now 12-1. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Looking ahead, Jordan will be playing at home against Watertown-Mayer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, they will face off against Belle Plaine at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
