Basketball Game Preview: Fountain Inn Fury vs. Laurens Raiders

The Fountain Inn Fury and the Laurens Raiders will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Fountain Inn is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Fountain Inn will head into Tuesday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 25-point drubbing they dealt Emerald on Tuesday. Everything went Fountain Inn's way against Emerald as Fountain Inn made off with a 63-38 win.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Laurens beat Westside 54-49 on Tuesday.

Laurens' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Fountain Inn, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
