Baseball Game Preview: Annapolis Cougars vs. Redford Union Panthers

The Annapolis Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Redford Union Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither Annapolis nor Redford Union posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Annapolis is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Inter-City Baptist just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers.

Meanwhile, Redford Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat. They lost 20-0 to Huron.

Annapolis' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Redford Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-21.

Everything went Annapolis' way against Redford Union in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Annapolis made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
