Soccer Recap: Brazosport Takes a Loss

Brazosport lost against Columbia back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Brazosport Exporters fell just short of the Columbia Roughnecks by a score of 2-1.

Brazosport's goal came courtesy of Natali Reyes, who's now up to 17 this season.

Brazosport's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Columbia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Brazosport will head out to face off against Sweeny at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sweeny is on a four-game streak of home wins, Brazosport a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. As for Columbia, they will welcome Fort Bend Willowridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Columbia's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
