Soccer Recap: Westerly vs. North Providence
Westerly fell victim to North Providence and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Providence Cougars. One thing that didn't help the Bulldogs' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Jack Mcgovern.
This is the second loss in a row for Westerly and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for North Providence, the win got them back to even at 3-3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westerly will take on Hope at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Providence, they will face off against Smithfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
