Soccer Game Preview: Texas City vs. Santa Fe

The Texas City Stingarees will head out to take on the Santa Fe Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After two halves, Texas City and Ball settled for a 0-0 draw.

Texas City was without their leading scorer, Andrew Hipp, in Friday's contest. With Hipp sidelined, Isaac Serrano got his first action of the season.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Friendswood, falling 3-0. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Indians struggled afterwards.

Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. Texas City's draw makes their record 2-7-3 this season.
