Carlisle had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Harlan Cyclones. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 victory the Cyclones walked away with the last time they faced one another back in June of 2024.

Carlisle's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Harlan, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-7.

Coming up, Carlisle will take on Centerville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harlan, they will challenge Shenandoah at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cyclones are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
