Softball Recap: King George Foxes vs. Chancellor Chargers
King George can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They never let the Chancellor Chargers onto the board and left with a 15-0 win. Winning may never get old, but King George sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Salena Buckwalter looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Madison Sobota was incredible, going 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Rachel Morrison, who went 2-for-2 with three RBI and a double.
King George has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Chancellor, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-18.
King George will head out on the road to face off against Spotsylvania at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. King George is looking to tack on another W to their 18-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
