Soccer Game Preview: Salinas vs. Pajaro Valley

The Salinas Cowboys will take on the Pajaro Valley Grizzlies at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Salinas' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Salinas lost 4-1 to Palma on Monday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pajaro Valley). They never let Rancho San Juan onto the board and left with a 6-0 win on Monday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Grizzlies considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Pajaro Valley's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-4 and their overall record up to 2-7-6. As for Salinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-4.
